Repairing Damage

Repairing damage to our health is something most of us need to do before we can begin to regain the strength and immunity we may have had as a youth.

The first step, as when we find ourselves in a financial hole, is to "stopping digging" by quitting smoking, eating an unhealthy diet, or tipping too many pints down at our favorite watering hole.

Our bodies have a fantastic ability to heal themselves, once we stop adding to the load of toxins and begin increasing the quantity of healthy nutrients in the form of natural foods and beverages we consume.

There is so much to say on the subject of repairing damage to our health that I thought it would be beneficial to recommend you take a look at a site by someone who has more credentials than I do on this and related subjects. Like they say, Why re-invent the wheel?

I know from experience that smoking is the worst controllable health risk. I also know that it is possible to quit. Many people I've talked to seem to believe they are exceptions to this last statement. That's a pity.

Quitting smoking is a great piece of personal knowledge -- once one has acquired it -- that we CAN begin taking control in all areas of our health, if we will only develop our willpower sufficiently.
