Healthy Planet Diets

Healthy planet diets are a collection of Web essays on transition steps to reach the optimum natural human diet for the 21st century and beyond.

In trying to reach the greatest number of people with a diet plan they could use to begin their move toward a diet that is healthier for them and for the earth itself, I wrote several essays on the most popular keyword searches. Recognizing that most people will not make the change to a pure vegan diet overnight, I wrote these diets to include small amounts of animal protein in the least harmful kinds available (fish and free-range eggs).

A consensus of the best scientific information, compared with the reality that the waste of resources to produce meat, fish, milk products, and eggs yields the unmistakable conclusion that the ideal diet is a vegan one. That this would, if widely practiced, eliminate the industrial-scale cruelty to our fellow creatures confirms this conclusion from an ethical viewpoint.

Anyone is welcomed to scoff and refuse to believe that they, too, are subject to natural laws. When scientific research projects spend millions of dollars analyzing the health of those who eat the most plant-source foods and compare it to those who eat the most animal-source foods, the plant-eaters win in every fair trial.

The only question left for you to answer is "How healthy do you want to be?" Do you want a little bit of cholesterol plugging your arteries -- or a lot?

How about "None at all"?

And, you might ask yourself, "How much do I care about the suffering of other animals and people brought on by my choice of diet?"
